Sunday Expectations (Christmas Edition)
This week is a little different than normal. It is super crazy. Well, maybe recently that has been the norm. Anyway, there is a lot going on this week especially since it is Christmas week. (It’s kinda weird having Christmas in the middle of 60, 70 and 80 degree weather.)

- This week holds the last two days of Christmas music for me. Yeah! A whole year before we get back to it!
- The Sunday setup team has really been doing an excellent job and they did it again Friday night for the Town Center Christmas party. Sunday’s crew will be just as great!
- We are getting close to Christmas day and so many people who don’t go to church feel like they have to get their church in before the year is up. Sunday is their last chance for a Christmas Sunday! Bring ‘em on!
- This year both of our parents are coming out to see us! This week my wife’s parents will be arriving. Hope they are ready for some better Christmas weather than they had last year!
- Christmas morning will be a little anticlimactic this year since we have already done all the presents and such. Oops.
- Christmas Eve service will be another great time with the church friends. Guess I ought to figure out what I’m supposed to be doing that night.
As the saying goes, Jesus is the reason for the season. (Ha. That wouldn’t be so cheesy if it didn’t rhyme.) Don’t forget this week that everything is centered on Him. Expect God to do great things when we remember that and live it out!
