Who the crap is brookjames you ask?  Well, that’s a good question.  I am a chaotic mixture of several different things.

Christ is what makes me me.  Without Him I am nothing.  Without Him I have no hope.  He gives me life and breath.  I try my best to follow Him, but continually struggle to get it right.  I am daily striving to follow Him better than I did the day before and constantly want to be learning more from Him.

I married the most wonderful woman I know.  I don’t know what she sees in me, but for some reason she loves me.  I love that I don’t question that.  We have been married since February 29, 2008.  We a beautiful baby girl who I can’t believe I could actually love so much on the way and a very masculine Maltese named Jack Bauer.  We live hundreds of miles away from our families but we love them and miss them very much.

I was a part of LifeChurch.tv in Oklahoma and Texas for about seven years before moving out to California and becoming a part of Kingsfield Church where I am currently serving.  I love getting the undeserved opportunity to lead other Christ followers through pastoring and music.  In addition to working for a church I love that God has given me a heart for this site.  I don’t know what God will do with it in the future, but for now I hope that He forms my chaos into something that others can benefit from.  I have a huge vision for music, engagement, realness and community that I know I could never accomplish on my own.  I hope and pray that Christ would use me in some way to accomplish that.

Besides those main parts of me, I am an avid sports lover, an in-over-my-head technology fan, and lover of all things music (minus Country of course).  I love anything involving water, a ball, cards (except Phase 10…that one just kills me), Jeeps, or the beach.
