Music Resources

I hate that the majority of chord charts posted on the internet are incorrect and I always end up having to redo them.  I have always wanted to have a website where I could post things and help other music pastors and leaders.  So hopefully this will be a benefit to you!  Below I have a list of documents that I have typed out myself and are for the most part correct (not always because I am not perfect or the best guitar player in the world…or in my band).  Most of these are songs that I have done at one point or another in my music career.

Nice list. Where do I find the chord charts? The chords have sooooo many variations. Some guys have favorite fingerings for chords, or chords in a particular song, how do I figure it out?…….. from a lowly guitar player…… bcl

Hey Brian! Since you are commenting on the chord charts page I am guessing you mean a diagram of each individual chord. Is that what you are looking for? If so you might check out this site (http://www.chordbook.com/guitarchords.php). It let’s you choose the chord and then will strum it as well so you can make sure your sounds match. There are lots of ways to play the same chord so it is really just finding the one way that you are most comfortable with and can make the best sound with as you learn!
